Warning! Warning! Battery Power! Warning! Warning!
[as i type this, it is August 17, so i'm catching up and posting the photos of the day, as i took photos each day, but didn't upload them until now]
Yes, my photos of the days are still lacking, as this one shows. This is a shot of Mac OS X complaining that for the 7th time during the day, the iMac is running on backup battery. This happens nearly 10 times a day while working on my iMac and this dumb pop up window comes up and interrupts my work. My battery backup beeps for a few seconds, then power is restored, but this window remains on my desktop until I dismiss it. There is no preference to keep this thing from popping up. Back in Leopard, this didn’t happen, but in Snow Leopard, you get a popup that reminds me of having to use someone else’s Windows XP, Vista or Win7 computer with pop up alerts telling you way more things than you need to know.
