Woohoo! Outside, in the bright sunlight! My legs felt good enough to drive out to Hendersonville this morning so I snapped this quick shot of the back entrance to the Blue Ridge Mall with my iPhone. I need to be bringing my Canon with me more often, but for a phone, this takes a pretty good image.
My legs still hurt, but nothing like they felt a few days ago. Hopefully I’ll be outside more often for my daily photo.

Oh my! Was this retouched? Those colors are positively breathtaking! This is beautifully minimalistic photograph that I could look at for an unreasonably long amount of time.

The only post-processing I did to this photo was apply a bit of sharpness to it. It was taken [one of 2 shots] with my iPhone 3GS. The sky really was that deep blue color!
If you’re ever in the area, you can see where this was taken in person – Blue Ridge Mall [in Hendersonville, on 64, exit 49 on I-26]. Go around to the back of Kmart and there’s an entrance to the mall there that is mainly used by employees. As you approach the entrance, look up and you will see what I saw.
